Post your kills and losses in the G

So far for me:

Kills
-Audi S4 (won by a nose)
-Heavily Modded Prelude Type SH
-Mustang GT (2003)
-Heavily modded eclipse GSX - had aftermarket turbo, exhaust, and intake (I love the fact that even after all the work this guy put into his car, mine was able to take it stock...hahah)
-330Ci
-325i (not even close)
-Grand Prix GTP (not even close)
-Heavily Modded 2003 Golf (don't know what all he had but definitely a loud turbo, exhaust and a lot of guages)
-A bunch of slow *** cars that tried to race and got whooped (acura integra, old grand prix, an old cadillac, etc)

Dead Even
-Porsche Boxter (2003- speed equal to last year's S)

Losses
-Pontiac Firehawk (1-2 carlengths, this one hurt)
-Corvette Z06 (I got smoked)
-Mustang Cobra (2003)

Edit: took out headers for Eclipse
Edited by Mani on 05/06/03 01:48 PM.

Dude...I wanna know how your buddy with the Eclipse GSX fit some headers on there man...thats kinda impossible....And BTW if it was as "Heavily Modded" as you say, It would have smoked you...I see those things runnin high 11's all day long at the track with a simple boost controller and 18g turbo upgrade. and a few other simple things....But nice.

nice list man

Its painful losing to the firehawk... nice car ... more for gino's still after all this time, but, hey ...a fast car deserves its own respect in its own right.

Z06 ...smoked you say ....yah .. thats one fast A$$ car man...put the fear of god in me buddy.

Carlos,

You listed Minivans in your kill column? Why bother?

Re: Post your kills and losses in the G

It's kinda funny but why do you guys race a Z06 if you now your gona loose

Well let see I've beaten:

Older Z3 - I think it was a 2.8. It was at night so it could have been a 2.3 or 2.8.

Brand new 330ci - it looks like he was on a test drive, cuz it had dealer's plate on it and all the window stickers. He didn't seem to happy about it. Sorry dude.

GSX Eclipse - this one was really easy, the thing was that it was being driven by a girl, a cute one too She gave me the thumbs up and I waved back at her

That's about it, haven't lost any yet. I don't race much. I just like crusin' in my G

Re: Post your kills and losses in the G

Coupedit, this is all from what he told me....I had never met the guy before we raced and I just asked him what all he had after we raced...he listed a bunch of stuff and I thought he mentioned headers...maybe not. And trust me if you saw it you would say it's heavily modded too...the body alone had so much done to it I could barely make out that it was an eclipse.

Re: Post your kills and losses in the G

Sounds like all looks no go. He probably meant exhaust manifold, last time I checked the turbo bible there were no headers, otherwise there wouldn't be a turbo.

Re: Post your kills and losses in the G

Racing a Z06 is fun even when youknow yur gonna lose. I just raced one the other night but since my G's not here I had to use the S2000. DAMN I got Smoked 2 seconds later I was getting SMOKED by a 12 second supra too. The S2k is bone stock so it was expected but it was still fun to be flying and feel like your going slow casue the other cars were so damn fast. BTW Big smile when I saw someone Beat an S2000 with the G. Cant wait till the G gets here The S is fun but more Lux and Speed damn I'm ready!!

Re: Post your kills and losses in the G

But but but....he had like 20 extra guages all up and down his cockpit and 3 huge stickers with japanese letters...those had to add at least 10 HP each!

Oh well, all that matters is that I had a huge smile on my face when I saw him in my rearview mirror.

Yea, those S2000 are alot of fun even if you lose to a faster car, I drove one it's the closest thing to a street bike. But I couldn't handle it as a daily driver.

Re: Post your kills and losses in the G

Mani be careful what you say and not be so cocky in that G of yours. A so called "heavily modded GSX" runs 11's and 10's all day long, I have a friend who has one and it'll run circles around your car. More likely that car was a GS all riced up with bolt ons and a GSX sticker, no turbo.
