i'm @ 9000 miles and i still don't suffer from any substantial road noise or tire roar from the michelin pilot 18s. i can't relate to all the posts about how loud the cabin is in the G coupe. when did you guys start getting noise?

It can depend on the quality of the roads you drive on. I noticed road noise not too long after I purchased the car on certain roads. Mine is about the same mileage you have and it's still very quiet on the smoother roads.

@ 5K... I still have that road noise comming from the front... My rears have always been quiet even right before I got new ones. I guess I keep the rear tires evenly worn using special techniques.

I started noticing the Pilot Sports getting louder at about 13k miles. Its not really loud or anything - most people wouldn't even notice it. But its definitely louder at highway speeds than when the tires were new.

Now I have snow tires on, and they make the Pilots seem very quiet by comparison!
