Before I get flamed I was wondering if it would be possible to put a sportbike exhaust on a G. Im not talking about 1 can maybe 4 or 5 to give it a unique sound without restricting air flow. Im thinking of doing a custom center exhaust and thought this could be a possibility. Any one here with experience doing this sort of mod?

 

Assuming you aren't trolling.... What would be the point of doing this?

Street bike exhausts are ridiculously expensive compared to car exhausts and you'd have to sequence a bunch of them together to get the same flow as a regular car exhaust and come up with a custom mounting solution that will probably suck and look like crap. Street bike exhausts are also not as durable as car exhausts because they are meant to be more showy and aren't subjected to much of a risk of road debris hitting them.

Just buy a nice G35 exhaust system that is engineered for the car.

Just curious I like different stuff the way I want it to look will be clean and hella agressive with the kit im modding im not necessarily going to use streetbike exhaust per say but NO one makes center exhaust for the G and I can do all the fab myself as for road debris... I have alluminum and stainless sheets sitting that are dying to be used. And really I dont see why not as long as it flows correctly it should be good and have a very unique sound worse comes to worst take it of and try something else. For the haters who have no imagination and cars that look and sound the same as every other g/z out there im not asking for your opinion. Im simply asking if it can be done from a tech standpoint if not what would be a good way to get center exhaust with out being straight pipes and crazy loud
