I was being humorous, plus I'm asian so I can make fun of other asians [img]/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/img]
Scotchguard will save you from staining but your carpets are still gonna turn black from everyday usage. I highly recommend the $20 clear all weather "Car & Driver" mat. Works like a champ.......screw that overpriced $100 factory crap, its just a damn mat you track your dirty feet on anyways.

Of course you don't buy $100 mats from the dealer, I think the multiplying factor is 3. Anyways, when you get them thrown in with the deal, who's gonna say no?

I bought the rubber floor mats from my dealer, even though I have the graphite interior. I use my car every day rain or shine, but that doesn't mean I don't want to take care of it. Never mind the dirt / water, the problem for me is that it wouldn't be long before the stock carpeted mats would be shot just from the wear of my feet.
The beauty of the Infiniti rubber mats is that they form fit PERFECTLY, covering every single square inch of floor space front and rear - and have very deep grooves to catch large amounts of water, if necessary - and they have the factory tab so they DO NOT move. You ain't gonna get that from Target!
I consider the care and protection of my interior well worth the expense of the floor mats - and the carpeted mats are stored in my basement for special occasions, and on the off chance that I may sell the car someday (I doubt that though).

That is absolutely hilarious man. What do you consider to be a special occasion? 10 yr wedding anniversary? Son wants to borrow the G for Prom? Picking up mother-in-law from the airport? The $15 "Car & Driver" mat is clear, very sturdy and heavy, and does not move anywhere. You blew $100 bucks on a dumb piece of plastic that you trample your feet on anyways.... it not like you eat off of it.....

i got the Infiniti All-Season Rubber Floor Mats for free, because they couldn't give me discount off MSRP so they gave me that for free

I have the standard Infiniti-logo embroidered carpetted floor mats. I put my dirty shoes directly on them every time I get in the car. They can be removed and cleaned. If they get ratty, they can be replaced. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]
