bad ECU
so the dealership is asking 1550$ for ECU replacement and a new battery after my car would not turn on and i had 2 hard codes for NAT issue causing the car not to start
the ECU itself cost was around 950, battery like 100. and rest is labor.
is this a common problem ? i feel bad and im gonna put a large chunk of my savings on the maintenance this monday. this was right after i paid like 300 to replace my cam sensors only to find out that the mechanic(not from dealership) used aftermarket sensors.
and i heard noise from the ABS, i think it might need to be replaced sooner or later. (internally crying)

Replace the battery yourself first and see if it goes away. Some modern cars can throw some weird codes when the voltage gets real low. Batteries are pretty cheap and real easy to replace.
