i got a new starter installed on my 2003 g35 coupe and its still making the same clicking sound, was it installed wrong?

Describe your clicking sound for us in detail and give us some more info about it in general.

Are your battery terminals clean and the connections tight on the posts?

Usually a loud click and no starting of the car means the starter solenoid is stuck. Weak voltage/current from the battery can also cause this noise because it can't provide enough juice to get it past the initial engagement point where the motor's compression starts to resist the turning motion of the starter.
