I just got this ad in an email from Infiniti w/ the subject line: Introducing the 298-hp, 6-speed Infiniti G35 Coupe

They are using a 2004 model and didn't even have the decency to photoshop in the new wheels and non-Brembo brakes!! And they don't even have a disclaimer saying "model shown may not represent actual vehicle" or some BS like that. That is a damn sexy picture though

get over it... it's just a picture. they make no mention of the brembo's in the print. where's the fine print? i notice an asterisk after "class leading"... i'd be willing to bet there's something to the effect of "specifications subject to change without notice" in there.

'04 with Brembos are the KING of G's!

 

I think anyone that is shopping for and researching the car would catch that, since those Brembo's clearly stand out. Plus, they would have caught that there are new wheels standard on the 6MT.

I replied to the email from the ad agency but I don't know if it'll get bounced.

 

How about this one. If you look at the 05 G35c brochure, the page with the red G where the woman is looking at it from her balcony, you can see that the wheels are the 05 19" but if you look at the auto tranny shifter, it's a pre 05 model.

Just thought that was kinda funny.
