Hmm. A used Zex, 200 octane, replacing the front wheels with convenience spares, removing the doors, hood, trunk, air conditioner, and back seat, the rear tires run bald, the side mirrors tucked in, lowered front end by cutting springs, open exhaust, and a Nismo sticker?

Tires can definately make a difference. R-compound competition tires are good for up to 5 seconds off your times at most autocross events.

Mickey Thompson makes street legal drag radials as well as nitto, but I wouldn't run the M/Ts on the street because the sidewall is very flexable. I run the M/T E.T. Streets on my Dakota R/T.
