You guys asked for a dyno... There is your proof. The dyno doesn't lie!

The pics and the description I posted was from takeda's website. I wasn't expecting huge gains from a bolt on intake but for the money I am very happy.
This beast's
got 500 horsepower
and a Borla exhaust system.
It does 0 to 60
in like 4.3 seconds...
That's about right.
That's about right.
Yeah.
Wow.
You can read the brochure.

Major WHP gains from aftermarket intakes we've grown up since the last time we were fed this kinda misinformation!

Sorry to burst your bubble but you didn't get any gains.

Dyno sheets can be altered.

Do some back to back runs on your own dyno, or at the track, or even on the street if you have a GTech or similar. Then report back.

Probably sounds louder and you think it feels faster because it's louder, but sorry to say, it's not.

You're now sucking hot air, which is going to lower horsepower.

It has been proven that a K&N drop in and a z tube are the best air intake. And even then, it's not much.

And the Turbonater and chips for our cars make 30-40 HP according to the manufacturers. Speed you've been here long enough to know to not buy into the hype of any significant gains from intakes from any company.

well here ya go my final answer is lol. I no im sure its not a huge number and I haven't had it dynoed. I do have a GTECH but I don't really believe those either. I did do a little screwing around, we have a main paved road here that ya can get a preety good run on and its uphill. The fastest ive ever been able to crest the hill was 80 mph. and that's even a cold day. the other day I was messing around some more and with the intake I managed like 93 mph at the crest so idk what hp I gained if any but it sounds amazing and seems to be much more responsive. like I said before im very happy with my product.

Hahahahahahaha. You have to screwing with us now. A G35 typically traps around 78-80mph on 1/8 mile track. For a 3 mph gain to 76-77 mph, requires about a 30 whp gain (full bolt ons and tune). To gain 13mph gain as you claim, would need around a 120 hp gain.

Cresting a blind hill on public road at 93 mph... what happens if there is something in the road? I'm sure your brakes and reflexes don't abide by the laws of physics, let along the traffic laws.

Don't "believe" in a Gtech? I have observed a Gtech over dozens of track run, and it was always within .02 seconds of the time-slip. What experience, observation, and facts have you experienced to base your beliefs on?

You realize that a 13mph increase from 80 is over a 16% increase in "trap speed". Even if your car DID get a 20 rwhp increase, that is only around a 7% increase in horsepower, therefore it is impossible, not counting air drag, friction and mechanical losses, road friction, etc, for the car to accelerate to a 16% higher speed over the same stretch of road.

I'm sure it sounds good, but try not to kill anybody doing 93.

Intakes do add more power but, not much. Its a better less restrictive system than the factory and saves a few minimal pounds (1or 2), you wont notice the weight savings but, your car will breath better. Add a 5/16th plenum spacer to get the most from it. Bottom line, as long as YOU'RE happy with your intake that's all that matters. You know your car better than anyone else. What's your next mod.

just fyi, official dyno sheets need to have the info/labels on them.

That chart is missing a ton of info and is basically useless. Need to know which lines to identify which is hp and torque figures, before/after, etc.

here is what I'm talking about, a dyno chart from a stock 05 G35 6mt from an old thread here. Notice the labels.
