Just Sold My G, Audi Anyone?
Just Sold My G, Audi Anyone?
I would love another Infiniti but the G37 just doesn't do it for me and the FX is too big.
Has anyone gone from a G to an Audi (or vice-versa)? I am considering a loaded TTS coupe but am thinking the low maintenance cost of the G has spoiled me. Seriously, 11 years and I only had to replace pads, rotors, tires, head unit & fluids. Amazing reliability.
Any thoughts?

My wife recently got a new A7 prestige and it is amazing. Can't say much about maintenance yet as it hasn't had an oil change yet (every 10k miles). But quality, attention to detail, and comfort is amazing. Makes my old G35 feel like civic.
The A7 is big too, it drives like a land yacht. The Hyundai was a dream though, overall probably best car I've owned so far. i really am still considering selling the range rover for a panamera. But still, day to day we drive the smart car 80% of the time
It's just easier around town.
The only car that's easier was my first gen insight.
I know those audis are heavy as ****. The a4 breaks 4k lbs I believe. That would be annoying to just drive down to the store. Great for cruisin tho.

@OP. Audi's are pretty sweet. I would go with something in the S line. Or even an A5. In terms of differences, you'll love the Audi's refinement. You might miss how the G is a little more raw... idk how to put it.
I own a B6 A4 S-line along with my G. Most of the major troubles (water pump, diverter valve, belts) have been replaced by the previous owner. Only thing I've had to do were front end links.
Switching back and forth, the 1.8T just doesn't have the pull of the G but that's just because of my specific Audi. My G came first so she will always hold my love but having both fits my life perfectly, the Quattro is clutch during storms and bad weather

I was close to getting an S5 but wow that motor does not make decent enough power for my tastes lol
I still think used Z06 is best performance bang/buck. But it lacks sophistication and class.
If I was in the market for sports coupe weekend car, it would have to be a used Porsche Caymen S. They can very easily be had now for 25k.

Zl1 a "slightly" better interior compared to the z06 imo
I couldn't do the cayman -I'd feel like a poser. C63 AMG was also in my top choices.
There's a lot of good choices less than 40k but unfortunately not many are 6mt including the AMG I just mentioned.
Me and Scraggle were discussing this. Under 35-40k, 6mt, And v8
It's quite scarce. Isf was never an option. It already looks dated imo

and then got an a4 and he hates the a4. the S series looks amazing though
