Lost vin tag

I had lost my vin tag, the one that sticks to the door and saids date car was made with the barcode on it, does anyone know if you can, where can u and how to get a new one?

You don't need it! Your vin number is inside the drivers side window and you also have another under the hood on the passengers side with more information. How do you lose tags?

well dont u need to know manufaturing date for some things?, i know about the vin already, well it was peeling, so i took it off, and just misplaced it

Nissan can retrieve the manufacturing date by running the vin number Jeffrey. If for some reason you need that information, you know where to find it...unlike the tag you lost!

I wouldn't worry about it. If anything, trying to get a new one might raise some red flags from the dealer about whether or not you're trying to do anything illegal regarding the VIN, etc.

As mentioned above, the VIN is located in quite a few other spots on the car including the easily visible (from outside the car) plate under the windshield glass, on a sticker under the hood, and also on a plate affixed to the transmission. There is also probably one printed on the motor somewhere, but I'm not exactly sure where it is on the motor.
