Anyone ever get an i35 loaner?

Just got an i35 loaner today (friggen mob scene, and everyone takes the g35's first).

All I can say is, I now know why they stopped making this car...horrible

Just a rebadged frumpy Maxima. Infiniti wisely has gotten rid of front wheel drive.

Rear or all wheel drive only!

It's a decent car - a guy I work with has one. I think the interior is much nicer and more luxurious than the G's. It's a more comfortable car overall, but the ride is way too cushy to give any kind of handling worth a damn. The I35 definitely puts much more emphasis on luxury and comfort than performance.

I think I got an I35 for a loaner the very first time I took my car in. I’ve mostly blocked out the memory, but I do remember that it smelled like a stale nursing home. Thankfullly I’ve always gotten G35s since then.

My I35 loaner had 25K miles on it. The suspension was bouncing so bad it felt like driving a domstic car. I didn't like it at all it was even pulling to the right. Told the dealer next time give me a better car.

I got an I35 loaner once. It wasn't bad, but I thought the G had a better interior. Obviously it can't hang with the G driving-wise, but I suspect the people who buys them probably don't care too much about performance anyway.
I think it's not fair to judge a car based on a loaner though. I had a G35 sedan loaner before that and it felt a lot worse than my G coupe, which shouldn't have been the case.

My 1999 I30, that I traded in for the G35x, was a decent, if unexciting car. It was highly reliable and felt a little larger than the G (the trunk was definitley larger, although I had a donut spare, not like the full-size in my G). It was a stable performer, but not anywhere near the league of the G.

We're lucky we get Infiniti loaners. When I considered the Acura TL instead of the I30, the Acura dealer said no loaners. The Audi dealer used to give Economy Rent-A-Cars that were in terrible shape. Since they needed to fix the Audi so often and for so long, I got tired of them really quickly.

I used to have a '97 Maxima SE. The I35's interior is pretty much the same as the '97 Maxima's was. The interior in the G is far superior.

I'd love to have an FX as a loaner. I do always get a G35X though at my dealer.

Whats funny is when I used to have a BMW and go to the BMW dealer, all I got were crap cars cause they had a deal with Enterprise. I always thought it would be funny when guys are rolling up in their 7 series 70K cars and leaving in a Toyota Corolla if they were lucky!
