Better than the Stillen Exhaust!
Better than the Stillen Exhaust!
I know I'm going to get alot of flaming for this post, but IMO the Stillen exhaust is overpriced and ugly (again this is my opinion).
Trust me when I say that there will be better looking JDM exhaust coming out by the end of summer with comparable to better performance gains.
For example a couple of the new exhaust systems to be released will be of Titanium build resulting in a light weight exhaust set-up. I also just test fitted an exhaust that will be sent to Japan for protyping which features two separate light weight muffler sections and Medallion style exhaust tips.
I think too many of you eager G35 coupe modifiers out there are jumping too quickly onto the overpriced Stillen brand. Some exhaust systems to look out for will be GReddy, Apex, HKS, 5Zigen, and Tanabe all of which have had or will have prototype set-ups. In addition, these are some of the biggest and most reputable aftermarket tuners!
My intentions here are not in anyway to dispute the quality of the Stillen brand. It appears Stillen has Dyno numbers to back their product. However, if you are willing to wait a couple of months I guarantee you there will be much nicer set-ups that may or may not cost the exuberant $1,200 to $1,300 that Stillen or even Nismo charges.
