Ordered my MREV2 and 5/16th Spacer - Question

i think you are confused.
mrev2 and non revup plenum look similar. the mrev2 is a stock non revup plenum that has been modified by shaving down tops of two of the runners and machining the insides a little to maximize flow. the longer runners on the revup have shown to increase low to mid end torque. the shorter runners on the revup (right picture) shows an increase in top end horsepower.
so when comparing a stock non revup and a mrev2 it might be obvious which one isthe modified one because of the shaved posts but it is hard to tell authenticity of a motordyne product. a while back there were people modifying stock nonrev plenums and selling them as mrev2s. although the dyno might not show much of a difference people were upset they werent getting a genuine product

I'm a little confused by the pic. You mentioned circled tabs in red......looks like both pics have some kind of tab circled in red.
I have (2) 05 6MT cars......a coupe (my current driver/project), and a sedan that was totaled on the rear. I bought the sedan with mods on it already. It has/had the plenum spacer on it already, I haven't determined what size this spacer is just yet, but this is definitely a Rev-up sedan.
Here is where I get confused. The lower manifold is like the one on the left side of the pic above. Doesn't a Rev-up car come with a different lower manifold stock? As in different from an AT car?
Is the MREV2 manifold lower, different from the Rev-up lower.....if so how?
Everything I've read, is steering me to an MREV2 lower and a 5/16 plenum spacer......and unless I have some better option for my N/A coupe, I will continue down that road.
I guess my biggest angst here......is I continually see conflicting pics of stock, MREV2, and Rev-up lower intake manifolds.
Can someone with some SOLID KNOWLEDGE please clear this up for me once and for all?

The stock Rev-Up has that rectangular tab with those 3 ridges in it. It's the one on the right in the picture above. The reason I picked that to identify the two is because it seems to be the only distinguishable feature that is visible when everything is bolted onto the car. The non-rev and MREV2 (because and MREV2 is just a machined non-rev) just have that circular tab in that spot that is flush with the upper plenum.
So to sum it up:
2003-2004 G35's have NON-REV lower plenums.
2005-2007 G35's have REV-UP lower plenums.
A motordyne MREV2 is a machined NON-REV lower plenum.
On an 05-07 REV-UP motor, your best gains are going to be made with an MREV2 coupled with a 5/16th spacer.
The difference between an MREV2 and a REV-UP is longer runners and basically a redesign by Nissan. The difference between an MREV2 and a NON-REV is just the machining that Motordyne does.
I have my MREV2 right now, but I'm not going to post any pictures of it because Motordyne wants to keep their design a secret.
^^This is all true for the 6MT, I'm sorry I don't know anything about the AT cars.

I emailed motordyne before buying mine used. They are very kind there.
I noticed more mid range torque in mine. Be sure to use a torque wrench in inch pounds when putting it on and tighten in the recommended order. The install is important so you get a good seal. It's a pain in the butt going over the bolts 3xs, but you'll have piece of mind
