Thanks again for all the comments.

Birdhouse, I think what people like is that this is not 'nisemono' which means fake in japanese. Everyone in the US wants the Skyline and I happen to live in Japan so I am lucky enough to have one. But then I want what I can't have and that is an Infiniti. I actually could have bought one, but didn't want to deal with left-hand drive over here. But I do wish I could row the gears with my right hand.

I appreciate all the comments about the badging and will be in touch once I decide what to do. If I can easily remove the Nissan badges I may just stay with that, but I do like the looks of the Infiniti badges on the car. Give me a few more days and I will probably come to a decision.

Re: Rear end pics

I have a few but they are not very good, so I will try to take a couple more and then post them here. I was surprised that the amber lens don't really stand out, and the rear end looks very much like that of US models.

Man, your center console actually is NOT backwards. That must be really difficult to get used to.

Yeah the fact that the volume and temp controls are within reach was real tough getting used to. Plus having the hazard button on the right side and near the shifter is great since we use that quite a bit here in Japan.

A quick question for everyone, do you find that the car does not return to straight after turning a corner. Everycar I have every driven would return almost automatically once you removed your hand from the wheel, but this car just wants to keep going around in circles and it is driving me nuts. Anyone have any advice on how to remedy this problem?

Appreciate the help.

thats odd. looks like you have a good deal of experience with rear wheel drive. I would see this being a common factor in some RWD cars.

I do like the suede insert option for the seats. And to answer your question, that is not an option on the Infiniti. But I'll be happy to trade you seat skins/covers!

Thanks for the pics.

Car looks great....congratulations!

I thought the JDM cars came with clear corners?

It sure would be odd shifting gears left handed. Is the gas pedal on the left too?

He paid 4.2 million for his car

Gas, brake and clutch pedals are the same as in the USA.

Picture taking the drivers side of the car and moving it to the passengers side. The stick is left handed and the engine layout is "mirrored" more or less. Also, shifting left handed is easy. First gear is still by your leg and 6th gear is far away. The hard part is keeping the car on the "other" side of the road. Right turns are a PITA!!!

What's so "cool" about this car? Just because it says Nissan Skyline on the car?

Right hand drive, among other things

I suggest the license tag "ITSREAL" or "NOTFAKE" or "NOTAG35" or even better, "OEM"

very nice, congratulations. being that you're in JDM land, i'd of get the previous Skyline instead. the seats are to die for.
