What's so "cool" about this car? Just because it says Nissan Skyline on the car?

They probably do the exact same thing we do....except they replace theirs with "ADM" amber corners to be different!

I am an American in Japan. I have been here for about 6 years and still enjoy living here, except for all the stoplights, they really make driving a stick a pain in the a$$.

As far as the clear corners, they may have been standard previously, but now they are a dealer option. I will get them in a few weeks, but wasn't too concerned about having them in the beginning.

Regarding the shifting and the like, once you get used to driving on the left side of the road it is not too bad. Now I often have trouble when I head back to the States. The pedals and transmission are exactly the same as on a left-hand drive car. First gear is forward and to the left, sixth is down and to the right, right next to your left leg.

RE: the clock

There is a digital clock in the center information center where the nice analog clock is in the Infinitis.

Here are a couple more pics, all I have at this time. I will try to snap a few more this weekend and post them for everyone. Unfortunately the rear pics are not that good. You will notice that the redline is 6600rpm, that means that even though it is an '05 we are still limited to 280 horses because of some stupid gentlemen's agreement.

My buddy just came back from Japan and told me about how ppl do that to be unique, which is pretty much like how we like to rebadge them as "Nissans"
Ummm its already that way.

Not in Japan.

I remember driving a right hand drive Suzuki Samurai (of course it wasn't called a Samurai)in the Cook Islands a couple of years back. I just kept my left hand on the shifter the whole time. And my wife and I kept getting confused witht the blinkers and the wiper swithes. Congrats on the Skyline, from the picture of the rear quarter panel, you can just barely see the amber colored turn signal light. Now you just need to get some overlays for the tail lights and the head lights. Where's Blue Batmobile?

Later,

Ray

hrmmm, lolo300zx, why the heck did you buy a V35 Skyline??? If it were me, I would've gotten a R34 GT-R. V35 is going to be around for years after years to come!!! You can always get it later...right?? The R34 is already gone!!
