1st and reverse Grinding Noise
When i come from a complete stop going into first i get a grinding noise, no matter how i play with the clutch/acceleration. I was told the clutch is sports clutch (i just got the car a month ago) idk about the flywheel. reverse is usually louder and worse than 1st. It only happens from a complete stop. If im already moving it wont happen. 124k miles. Maybe im a shitty driver (1st manual car) feedback ill post vids
Your clutch may not be fully disengaging. If the car is stopped and it's grinding going into gear then it's not a drivers skill problem and likely mechanical. Try to get it fixed ASAP before it turns into a blown tranny.
when im at a complete stop and i start letting go of the clutch for first gear to catch i get a little rattling/ gear noise. The guy said it was a sports clutch and the biting point is near the top of the clutch pedal. Maybe he lied and i need a new clutch? throwout bearing? it gets worse on an uphill. i might just take it to a shop. sometimes it does it not all the time but frequently
Could be a busted finger on the pressure plate.
