What's up guys, I own a 2004 G35 Coupe 6-Speed with Premium Package. I'm currently rebuilding the motor due to a spun rod bearing and needed to replace my upstream drivers side o2 sensor. I ordered an oem upstream o2 sensor for the 2003-2004 vq35de (Nissan part number 22690-al600) however the sensor is different and the connector is all wrong. It matches the rear o2 perfectly but not the front one I removed. Here's the part I received:
And here's the sensor I removed from my car:
The front one I removed has 5 wires and a 6-prong connector. It is the same way on the harness and appears to be that way from the factory, not spliced in by someone else. Does my car have oem widebands in the front?
I'm not 100% sure which o2 sensors you're talking about but maybe this helps.
My G35 harness has the 4 prong connectors for ALL four o2 sensors.
I - also - spun a con rod bearing on the G engine and sourced a 350z engine and dropped it in.
I noticed the 350z engine has 6 prong connector o2 sensors on the Upstream sensors (the exhaust manifold ones)
I'm not sure what defines the wideband sensors but yes, your car has OEM 6 prong connectors for the o2 sensors. Must be a change in the engines throughout 2004 because my 2004 G has 4 prong connectors but the 2004 350z had 6 prong connectors.
EDIT: And yes the rear o2 sensors are 4 pronged. I still have the front pair from the 350z engine with 6 prong connectors. You can have them cheap or try buying the ones for 2005-2006

Sorry for the confusion in the sensors, I needed to replace the upstream sensor (in the exhaust manifold). The car had a 6 prong connector but the sensor I ordered had the 4 prong. The 6 prong had 5 wires while the 4 prong has 4. How much do you want for the 6 prong sensors and are they new?
They were on a 100k mile engine which was pulled from a running car - The same engine I'm using now.
You can have them for $25 and whatever shipping comes up to, probably around $5?

The one u received is a narrowband.
Widebands have 6 wires atleast.
