Here's the story, I think one day my fob needed battery replacement when I lent it to my father for the month. Now since I got the vehicle back. The buttons on both side doors and the trunk button doesn't respond whenever I am nearby with the fob. The confusing part is that whenever I press on the fob to unlock the doors or trunk it works and when I press on the door buttons or the trunk it works! This happens frequently. Aside from this, when I hop inside with the keys. My dash will tell me that the keys are not inside of the vehicle when it is. I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. I am hoping someone on this forum had a similar problem and fixed it themselves.

So recap of this story is that

The doors/trunk button doesn't work until I use the keys.
Sometimes I have to press on the door buttons numerous times before it unlocks.
Batteries on key fob have been replaced.
When I sit inside and start my car, it's telling me that the keys are not inside but is still driveable to my destination
