It's about as close a race as there is. The driver has a lot to do with it. As well it depends on whether it's a rolling start where we have the advantage. From a dead stop the WRX can bump up the rpms at launch and utilize the extra traction and is closer to turbo spool up.
I've only raced one (from dead stop with a 260lb passenger) and it was exact tie. We only got up to about 65 mph though and the G will pull better at higher speeds than the WRX.

The STi will kill us at any speed given good driver. Its a lighter, more powerful car so there is no way we can win without driver error.

 

I hope you are all talking about dusting and racing at the track. Right? If not, stop the goddamn street racing. My insurance premiums don't like it.
