Do you insert the DVD's, CD's through your regular CD player stock with car?
As far as wifi access points, i dont know of any except like some Border's book stores, starbucks, hotels, etc... I would assume to download the latest traffic info, weather, etc u need to be near one? What do you use?

There has got to be male to female IDE ribbon adapters out there...

Looks like man! one thing, in this pic, be sure to open that back up and run some heavy plastic over the newly stretch hole...otherwise, when it rain, it'll leak down into that hole and into your cabin, right onto your ECU and passenger floor board. TRUST ME.

I did that with my camaro...but with the G, doing all the wiring to get the display/sound from laptop to car and everything...might as well just designate a carputer and not have to worry about it. I thought about putting my docking station mounted like in the trunk tho, so I could just plug my laptop in and go...but easier to not bother and just carputer it since I have the comp laying around anyhow.

I just searched on ebay and found a ton of USB extension wires. a 10 foot cable was like $2 + shipping.

Very nice job.
A few questions.
How do you play video, through a dvd? If so where is it mounted and what type of player is it?
How does the phone service work, is it via bluetooth? Can that Centrafuse software support that?
How does the weather report work, do you need internet access to update each time?
How does the Traffic reporting work, does it tie in to the GPS and do you need to have internet access to update?
Can you play TV on this PC?
Is Centrafuse software better than Cyote's media center?

Sorry for so many questions.
