Very nice work!

Did you make enough cash installing the sytems that you are now moving on to something else? M6 maybe

BTW... in case there are others wanting to tackle a great project will you still be around to answer questions It would suck to lose a valuable resource such as yourself.

Dumb? Why was this necessary? Have you seen what a carputer can do?

Mine has MP3, DVD, GPS, Navi, WiFi. Oh, and its touchscreen too. A whole lot better than the stock navi and 20 GB+ of music. That makes it all the worth doing.

Here's the video I made of what it can do:

way to make your case buddy. Just because it has a lot of functions doesn't mean that you would ever need it in your car lol. I do beleive GPS is navi lol!!

Make my case. I'm just pointing out its features. GPS isn't Navi. GPS tells you your location, Navi gives you directions. Anyways. Why would you ever want a navi in your car or the ability to play mp3's?

Ummmm cause I have an IPOD i can plug in. 2, i'm fairly certain the navi needs gps to accertain where you are in order to provide you with directions. Soooo for the most part "Navi" IS GPS

Why do some people install aftermarket intakes, aftermarket exhaust, aftermarket stereo systems, aftermarket wheels, lip kits, body kits, projector headlights, clear lenses, different bulbs... and on and on and on.

No mods are necessary. It is all based on personal preference and what the driver likes.

If everyone used your perspective then why would any of us have a G35? We could all drive around in stock Yugo’s.

Oh wait I see... what is your concern since you don't have the G35 to put the Carputer into yet anyway?

Why would you ever need an Ipod? I hope you have a PAC unit and not using the crappy tape to listen. I'm not going to get into the argument of GPS and NAV being different. I forgot to mention I also have a rear view camera, ability to download my mp3's in my garage via wifi and if I also wanted, live traffic reports. Again, why would you want these features? This coming from someone that probably doesnt even own a G35 and is boosted. Why would you need that?
