Negotiation tips for buying that G35 coupe
#31
I am hoping to purchase a G35 Sedan as well, hopefully this month. This forum has given me much vauable information. I did have a few questions though and if someone knows the answer, I would appreciate it.
When you say invoice price, does each dealer get different invoice pricing? I just go off of edmunds.com and compare. The best I got so far was 500 over invoice.
Thanks

Just note that "Dealer Invoice" is not always what they paid to the manufacturer. Every quarter, there are "dealer incentives" (kickbacks, essentially) that are NOT included in the invoice price. As such, if an invoice states $32,550 do not assume that's the lowest price a dealer can go.
As far as buying a car in August, I would wait until end of September. That time means end of quarter, new model year, and post-Labor Day sales. You might be able to save a few hundred $$$ by leveraging this confluence of events at that time. Consider it your car buying "perfect storm" for that time of year. Otherwise, I always prefer to buy my car in winter-- end of December or March.

OK I like the idea of buying at the end of September....another question I have is, have any of you bought your G35's with financing through the Infiniti Financial Services' Signature Graduate Plan?
I fit the guidelines in that I graduated 2 years ago and now I'm taking graduate courses.
So I was wondering if it is worth it or should I just go through a lending source like LendingTree or CapitalOne.....
