Alot of people in here has z tube + pop charger. Does the pop charger give the Pssssssh sound like the CAL? Does all the CAL give such sound? Sorry if this topic seems stupid to you.

NO, it's like BOV in a turbo car. I heard there is a 'pssh' or ''weeee'' when the car is in high rpm.

I dont think my popcharger does that, but I know if i'm at like 4k rpm and i gas the pedal and let off it makes a small pshh sound....

 

are u talking about... the whistle sound that CAIs give?

 

Yeah I think you guys are mistaking the wistling of a turbo (turbine) and the suction of the C.A.I.

B.O.V. = Releases pressure exerted by the turbo :P

I think even our stock G tube has that...Atleast mine does, I know this because this weekend I had the hood open and was reving her up...Me and my brother noticed a small whistle sound as I pressed on the gas...I know on my last car I had an AEM cold air intake and it was a very nice and loud whistle...Its more of a sucking sound that causes a small whistle...Nothing like a turbo..

So......does the popcharger has the whisle sound?

 

my pop charger does make a whistle sound from around 3k+ up to around 5000 rpm...it was there w/ the stock intake, but increased in decibels w/ the z tube/pop charger combo. o and i heard the z tube does also keep/increase the whistle your referring to, my pop charger seems to have made it a tad louder than stock however...

 

man...i realllllly need the z tube soon.
