How many of you are 18 and younger?

Just curious to see how many forum members are 18 or younger and if you have a 6mt or 5AT. i remember reading quite a few 18=< yr olds have 5at's because their parents bought it for them and they had no choice (=my situation). How many spoiled little brats we have here?

i'm a spoiled brat . got my G last year (17) and i was in a similar situation: if i waited for a 6mt i wouldve had to go the entire summer without a car, and i didn't care at that time, it was still a g35!

Wow. I'm a 27-year-old doctor who is just able to buy an '05 6MT G35 after busting my a** throught undergrad, med school, and now residency. I truly hope you younger guys appreciate the sacrifices made on your behalf by your parents or other benefactors. Always ask yourself - what did I do to deserve this?

Kyosho u get all those all mods with your own money??!! Or your parents pay for them? I can only manage to save like $200 for mods a month! My budget is really tight. I have to pay for school, books, gas, expensive gf, my lil sister's gas, n other stuff working 30 hrs/wk. Then i gotta pay for my monthly trip to chicago to help my mom with her business. My job pays pretty descent but it seems like its never enough. Especially for mods

I'm 18, and I started to type a really long story, but I didnt feel like gettin into it. I'm not by any means spoiled and the last time I got a dime from my parents was at the age of 16. I actually had to wait 3 weeks to sign for my G (even though I had the money in my check book to buy the car) because I was only 17 and legally they couldn't sell me the car, and I refused to put the car in my parents name. Currently I goto college full time and work full time. I have to put off buying my rims, cuz I need some new clothes for spring. Oh and yah, I got a stick, mommy and daddy had no say in that cuz Its Mine

The youth is the future. I trust the future is bright. This young man sounds like he has his act together. Best of luck to you. Do you think you could set an example to the spoiled brats out there.

Gee Pasta,
Thank you very much for the compliments, as for setting an example for the "youth" of the board, I would like to share my thoughts from an older thread "Average Owner Age"

For all the teens who mentioned they liked the car for gettin girls... I don't think thats the best approach to get a girl (if u don't intend on her using you). Every girl I have dated since I have had my license I have borrowed a friends car (95 Cavilier) to go out on the first date. If the girl looks like a keeper at the end of the night, then our next date I show up in my G. This plan has never failed yet, and many of them have never seen the second date, (or the G for that matter)
If your 18 or around their, go out and have fun.. but act the proper age of the kinda person who should be drivin a $35k car. Me personally, I didn't grow up in one of those wealthy towns. My first job was 12 years old sweepin the floor of a convinent store. By 16 I wanted a Lexus IS300 but only had about 18k or so saved up (work, birthdays, etc). My parents saw how hard I worked and knew how bad I wanted that car, and put up the rest to get me a *used* one. Everything I had done to the car was either a present or my earned money (my parents couldn't do it even if they wanted to, click the pics in my sig, u will see I dont even have a garage... I bought a fake one at sears *myself*).

I dont know where I went with this post but on my previous board (is300.net) I was attacked for being 16 with an IS.... and lookin at some of the remarks of the teens here... I know where these older guys are coming from...
