Long story short my grandparents hired some people to do some work and they said they were going to buff my headlight, and left compound on it until it dried into like a cement. I don't know if it can be buffed off, I don't have a buffer.
I could buy a new stock L headlight, but I'm thinking since I have to buy one anyway, it might be best to just buy a set of after market headlights. But I can't tell if they're actually lit or just trashy. Anyone have any comment or recommendations?

They are mostly trash, budget LEDs and Halogen housings "Made for HID" as their marketing States. Horrible output. Build your own set or just buy a NOS option to replace yours.

Before you spend $$ on new headlights try washing them with soap and water, then buy anyone's plastic polish! The polish should clean up those lenses, after they're clear add quality paste wax to keep them that way. The alternative is to buy a headlight cleaning kit! (Google for the best one)

Theres random people I've seen at gas stations buffing headlights pulling dents ( gypsys?) Idk..
But they drill holes to pull dents out or sand stuff off them cover them up with some paste....
Just crossed my mind

So funny every time I see that word, in another part of the world it's basically the same as using the "N" word Originally Posted by Edgarc6789

Yeah it's something most Americans aren't even aware of, I guarantee if you go calling someone a gypsy in Yugoslavia or any of that region you better be prepared to fight lol.
