Did the relearn but P0507 comes back when using the AC

I was getting the P0507 code and I did the idle speed relearn which dropped the RPMs back to 650. I found that at idle with the AC on that the RPM range would be 700-750, no problem there. Now, here is the rub: When I drive the car for 40 or so miles on the highway and when it idles at a traffic light upon entering a city, the RPM range is back up to 950-1100! When doing a scan it reads that the 0507 code is "pending". OK, so I clear the code, do the relearn again and I have not used the AC for a few days, the RPMs are 650 and no SES. What is it about using the AC that is triggering this? Is it possible that I need the ECU flashed or something? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Did you have the engine up to temp, transmission up to temp, all electrical loads turned off, steering wheel straight when you did the last relearn?

Also have you gone through the potential issues that can bring that code up? Here's a link to some great information for you if you haven't seen it already. https://www.engine-codes.com/p0507_infiniti.html

Yep...no codes until using the AC.

Thanks for that link. I was going to clean the throttle body but I read that what caused the code for that person. I will look into that but is there a better way to do it as to not screw anything up? What kind of cleaner is best?

I use CRC brand stuff for practically everything except some PB Blaster to loosen fasteners. The CRC TB cleaner is good stuff.
