G35 different exhaust note?

Hey guys , I am new here. I was wondering if you guys would know what exhaust setup this guy has. I heard one time is person a g35 sound something like this and I’ve been trying to find a setup with this exhaust note ever since. Does anyone have an idea what this could be? I feel like it doesn’t sound like a Vq. Thanks!! Here is the video

Tips look aftermarket, probably an Invidia Gemini true-dual from the lack of big muffler in the rear. With the OG breathless/tinny sound, probably has normal cats to boot (no test pipes/HFC).

Might have had some custom work done to the exhaust, as that doesn't sound like any G35 with a Gemini that I've heard, or any exhaust to be honest.

That thing sounds gross. Why would you want to replicate that?

Kymoto, welcome to the G35 Driver forums! Someone should throw that Squirrely peanuts, that's the best way I know of to get a ticket! His exhaust sounds like crap, he's running very restricted factory cats and possibly 2" pipe! I suggest if you really want a great sounding exhaust system attend a few meets in your area, listen to what members cars sound like and ask them what they're running! You could go on UTUBE and listen to what systems sound like, although what you're hearing is only as good as the Wallmart recorders they've used. Hearing systems in person is far better, keeping in mind none of them are cheap! Again, welcome to Driver and enjoy the ride!
Gary

One of my favorite episodes of comedians in cars getting coffee. Seinfeld picking up Obama in the stingray.

There may be a lot of ways to achieve that sound but this worked for me. I installed a 2 inch water valve in the muffler to atmosphere and then adjusted the flow until it sounded right.
