Ok I am a new member to these forums. I recently got a 2005 Infiniti g35 coupe and after a couple of weeks my brakes from the front make this clicking noise. Its hard to describe but it only does it when I'm slowing down to the point when I am not in motion. Once I'm just sitting there it doesn't do it. It makes this loud click when I let go of the brake after pressing it. Sounds like its coming from the left one but I don't know what it could be. Any help would mean a lot!!!

 

Your description sounds like your brake pads are moving around and might not be properly secured. Don't sleep on this, take a look at the pads and hardware or take it to a shop if you aren't sure.

 

I'm betting it's early signs of the slide pins starting to seize up.
