I have never seen that before and don't recall coming across it in the owner's manual, but I'm assuming it would be for a cabin air filter. I'm also assuming that's an 03 or 04? Is that a North American car or some other market?

 

Yes, its originally a California car. 2003. I thought it was for air purifier maybe?

 

Possibly that too, but I'm not aware of this generation of G having that feature, and I've been around these forums since '03. Unless this is some oddball, undocumented feature on the very early model year '03s? My only other thought is it's an unused icon and you've got a short or circuit board failure somewhere causing it to light up.

 

So when did cabin filters become normal? Is it a g35 ardan option?

 

The cabin filter was always an option on the G35, the air purifier was not, as far as I'm aware.

Doubtful, IMO. This would have been helpful to know. I'm not saying they are definitely related...

 

We'll is there an indicator when you need to replace the cabin filter? Some light or somethin?

 

Didnt think it was relevant. Hadn't had an issue with anything since. No codes or issues. If you have any insight I'd love some. Mechanic cant find anything wrong
