Tips and Tricks
Okay, so I just learned that if you press and hold the steering wheel audio control to advance the track on a CD, it will advance to the entire next CD (as opposed to pressing it briefly, which will advance the track on the current CD).
So it made me wonder if there are other little tips or tricks I don't know about my new 05 6MT Coupe?
And a question - Can I disable the horn beep when I arm the alarm? (I'd probably rather just have the lights flash)

Theres the window remote thing from the keyless entry...press and hold unlock and the windows go down...thats not really a tip or trick though...I think everyone knows about it...the dealer shoulda told you also...
A trick would be the easy ECU reset found in the Mod section. Like someone said...did we buy a car or a video game?...lol.

1. hold down trip reset
2. set the number by pushing trip reset
3. when your done.. leave it for about 15seconds and it'll go back to normal
the rev light starts blinking about 500RPMs before you hit your mark and when you hit your mark it'll be come solid.
also if you stick your key into the driver door and turn it left and hold it there you can roll up your windows too..
kinda useful when my passenger forgets to roll up the window
edit: u guys beat me to it

On all '05 models with Bose, if you want to have the Bass or Treble higher than "0" you'll have to adjust it every time you turn on the car. That's right. The bass and treble sound levels always default back to "0" when you turn off the car. EVEN IF when you restart the car and you have it set on, for example, 3 for Bass and 3 for Treble you'll have to adjust it one down then back up to have the stereo adjust it to the desired level, 3 in this case. Upon starting the car it may DISPLAY 3 for Bass and Treble but it will not SOUND like the 3 level settings until you readjust it every time. There is a whole thread on this in the audio section. So far there has been no fix for this and I do not wish to rehash/hijack this thread with the details. It will be a few more weeks/months before Infiniti has a fix for it-they have to acknowledge that it is a bug in the Bose programming first.
