04 g35x cam pos sensor p0345
#16
Sorry for the late responses, I’ve been busy, and currently out of town. I will check/clean the ECM ground in a few days.... in the mean time I have few questions...
1) if cleaning the ecm ground doesn’t resolve the issue, what would be the next step?
2) I have the original stereo, but the new one is converted to double din, I’m planning on selling the car, what’s your opinion on putting the old stereo back in? The person who installed the stereo was a complete idiot, there was a wood screw slightly twisted in an empty slot on a wiring harness. Also the stereo would fit my ol’ reliable 99 Camry (daily driver)
3) Does anyone have a FSM link for p0340? Or a guide posted on a forum on going through the steps for this code? I’ve been looking but can’t find much more than replacing the cam sensor.

Section EC - Engine Controls, scroll down the contents a little bit and it starts listing trouble codes.

I have the stereo out, I don’t see a ground in sight. Is it behind the air vent thing? I also had to replace the battery, recently read up somewhere that a weak battery would cause p0345. Cleared code with scanner and it came back on.
Also, I did replace both cam sensor with new sensors from hitachi on rockauto.
