Window motor regulator
Window motor regulator
My window won't go up more than 1/2 inch. It makes a cranking noise like something is stuck.
I took the motor off in the motor works now I'm trying to get to the bolts to take the regulator off.
Is there a way to get to the bottom left hand bolt it's behind a piece of metal on the regulator.
If I could get the window up a little bit I could probably get to the screw but I can't raise the window enough.
I tried Hand cranking it and it goes down a little bit but it won't go up I tried with the 3/8 ratchet. Any suggestions

After getting the two screws out I was able to hand crank the window up enough to get the third one out. I put some lube on the regulator and it's moving pretty easily. The motors also working normally maybe something was stuck or I just needed to Grease.it
A "weak motor" is a definitive sign of a worn out window motor. A lot of **** remanufactured companies don't actually do a full rebuild, for rebuilt motors like that I prefer Dorman because I know they actually change out the wearable components.
They might do a crappy job reassembling stuff and usually don't use enough grease but at least they replaced the motor brushes and bearings and such.
