Recurring Issue
Recently, I've been encountering a recurring problem being that my car will stall out occasionally. Before you tell me that I'm shifting improperly, I have an automatic (ew, I know). I've had this problem once before and it was much worse than this, but it has since been fixed, or at least I thought it had been. This was a few months ago, but now it's back. Last Sunday it stalled at a stop sign while I was trying to accelerate, and it did it again this morning while I was stopping but came back. When I had stopped it cut off completely. Each time it does this the check engine light, VDC light, and slip light all light up. Any help diagnosing this issue is greatly appreciated.

With the car in park and the engine idling at normal operating temp stomp the throttle completely 100% wide open. Does it kind of bog down a little bit for a fraction of the second or does it just immediately rev up? If it's got a little hesitation that's usually a vacuum leak and can definitely stall the car out.

I had a problem like that. I had alot of corrosion on the negative battery terminal. The metal was too thin after cleaning it so much. Replacing it fixed the problem. I would be driving and everything would turn off and on. Or I'd be at a stop sign and the car cuts off. All the lights would come off and on momentarily and there would be no code.
Might not be the problem but hopefully it's something that simple.
When you replace the terminal you can flip how the ground cable was mounted and itll be long enough.
