2004 Coupe No Start, No Clicking, Battery Good, Starter Good
I have an 04 coupe with 145,000. Recently the car just stopped starting out of no where. No clicking, no cranking, just nothing. I thought it was a dead battery but turns out the battery was at 100%. I replaced the starter about a year ago, thought maybe the new one went so pulled it from the motor and took it to an auto parts store for testing and everything checked out. The starter is getting power, I used a screwdriver to arc the connection and could hear the motor spinning.
I've checked all the fuses in the engine bay as well as in the cab. Any ideas on what could be causing this or how to go about testing?
I'm thinking it may be the ignition switch, going to get a test light this week and try seeing if I'm getting power or not.
If it is the ignition switch can I replace it with a new switch and key from another car? Will I have to bring it to the dealer for reprogramming?
Any suggestions would be awesome!
Also when I turn the key there is no red light on the dash.

Test the ignition relay in the IPDM, yes you can jump the starter because there is ALWAYS power on the big wire that bolts to the positive side of the battery. What you are troubleshooting is the little wire that goes to the solenoid.
A test light isn't a continuity tester, it's an analog voltage tester. The alligator clip on the test light gets connected to a ground source (anywhere on the chassis that's bare metal, bolt heads work if you scuff them up first to get good contact), then use the needle probe to check for voltage.
Look up a youtube video on how to use an automotive test light if you're still unsure about it.
Personally I don't really recommend using a test light because there is so much it CANNOT do, Harbor Freight carries a very cheap Cen-Tech digital multimeter for about $5 that will do AC/DV voltage and resistance readings (ohms) which is really all you need for basic auto troubleshooting.

Oh alright, I saw a bunch of multi-meters some digital some analog, I was looking for "test light" but closest thing I found was the continuity tester. But I was actually contemplating getting a multi-meter because I knew you could do a lot more with it. I'll grab one this weekend and look at a few videos and post my results. Be back this weekend.
