G35 Coupe window alignment

Hey guys, hope yall are well and safe.
I just need some help with aligning my windows since there is a gap so big I get a full shower when I go to the car wash on both sides.
My windows dont sit on the weather strip, I just replaced them so they are not the issue, also my passenger window is the one with a larger gap, and for some reason it no longer does the thing where it opens a little when you open the door and goes back up, also, when i do the auto up it goes all the up then goes down to halfway.
I was gonna do it myself, but I suck at aligning, I was hoping if you guys know anyone in the Orange Country, CA, area that can do it for a decent price (broke college student) since Infiniti is trying to charge 170 per window.
I tried contacting a lot of body shops and auto glass, and no one even knows what window alignment means.
Thanks guys! I appreciate all help.

Surprised the glass shops don't know about windows alignment, it's required on all frameless windows.

FSM section GW - Glass/Windows. Page 56 for tilt, 55 for all the bolt holes for the regulator. You basically loosen the regulator bolts and lift the window to the position you want then tighten them back down. It's a LOT easier if you have a second person outside the car with a glass suction cup to do the alignment while the guy on the inside tightens the bolts, do this with the door closed and you just make sure the gap is parallel. If you're doing it yourself just loosen everything, then do the bottom corners first.

Once it's parallel do the window motor limit switch calibration that's also on page 55. If it still leaks a little water tighten up the tilt against the seal a little more (clockwise on the bolt), don't go too tight you want it to be just barely waterproof.

Thanks, I went through the manual and see what you mean, but for some reason I dont feel comfortable doing it as I aint all that good with aligning stuff, ill try and see what happens, but I was hoping if anyone can refer to a shop or a guy who can do it for a decent amount. Ya know? For the piece of mind.

If you went through and removed the door panels and got everything prepped so all they need to do it loosen the bolts and adjust it that will probably get you down to a 1 hour labor charge for both windows since it's really only a 5 minute job per side.

To update you, I removed the panels and took it to a body shop, they still want to charge 157 a window, and Infiniti said it doesnt matter if the panels are on or off.
I decided to do it myself one more time, but I need help.
I need more detail, like which bolt does what and stuff like that. Or anyone that can help me out in the Southern California region.
Thanks

Some of your issues such as the break the window takes when opening and closing the door, and the 1/2 drop of the window are reset issues. You can find reset information here on the forum. As to alignment, the easiest thing to do is slightly loosen the adjust points and put the windows up. Then tighten and check the window as it comes down, you may have to make minor adjustments if you notice that the window is dragging or hanging up in the track anywhere.

Not sure if you figured this out yet, but I could post some helpful pictures in a day or two. I wrapped my whole car recently and removed the door handles which requires taking the glass out. It's just three bolts holding the window on the tracks. There's stickers covering the access holes but if you need pictures I will post them

My windows didnt align perfectly so there's still a gap. The plan is to fix it this weekend

I'm pretty sure all you need is a 10mm socket

Ive already reset it, its just aligning it. I cant get it to fit right. I tried loosening them all and no to avail, I got it close but thats about it.
Its just a small gap between the seal and the window.

I found the bolts and such, just not sure how to align it, messed around for a bit but its not sitting on the seal. like 3mm away.

RIP the 2 10mm sockets that fell in my door in the process.

Not sure I understand where it's not seating at. Normally you loosen the mounting nuts, put the window up, get it where it is supposed to be and then tighten them down. There's not a lot of room to make any errors.

As to the 10mm sockets, a magnet will retrieve those for you.

Once you have those three screws loosened you can just grab the top of the window and wiggle it and you will feel it kind of rock back and forth there's not a lot of play and if you need to get more adjustment your glass is probably not clamped properly onto the bottom section of the track.

I tried to move it but it wont stay put, just moved a bit. I did tighten and spent over 2 hours on 1 window trying to get it close, didnt work. My window does rock back and forth and it doesnt look good, I thought it might be the regulator even though its working fine.
For now Im just using rubber seals glued onto the original to seal out the air and water, works good, doesnt look good. Ill upload pics when I get my lazy bum up.
