i have a mt 06 g35 with 100k miles on it
when i drive the car i have a weird grinding like noise from the transmission
i replaced the tranny oil in it and still have the noise
what else can it be?

 

Does it change at all when you push in the clutch?

 

it just actually makes the noise from 3-6 gear so not when i start driving only when im going more then 25mph

When it is making the sound if you shift into neutral and release the clutch does it go away?

 

no sound in neutral, but can it be the clutch?
i got a new clutch less then 10k miles ago... i got the cheap autozone one tho the duralast
also i dont have a clutch smell or slipping... but before i replaced it it would have the burned clutch smell
i also replaced the master and slave cyl

 

If the sound goes away as soon as you put it in the neutral and release the clutch then it's not the clutch or throw out bearing making the sound, sounds like some kind of internal gear whine maybe? I think you should drain the oil and inspect it.
