I had one of those on my 300ZX before I sold it. What do you want to know?

Just curious how they liked it, what the setup was (prob some modified MAF adapter), and any other general impressions...

Well, if it's worth anything to compare to the 300zx unit (which can't be that different since both engines have MAFs), I liked it better than the HKS Powerflow I had on it before mainly due to lower maintenance requirements. The HKS required cleaning or replacement every 10K miles or so, while the Apex'i was good for much longer and there was no element to remove or re-oil. As for differences in power, I couldn't detect any on the 'butt-dyno' and I never dyno'ed the car with the HKS unit. It came with a MAF adapter that was easier to deal with than the HKS one. Overall, my impressions were that it is a good unit with solid filtration. I remember a study a while back that looked at the dyno numbers and filtration of a few filters (HKS, Blitz, Apex'i, etc.) and the Apex'i came out on top.

Thanks sherwooa. I did check out that link, and it was pretty interesting to see the results.

I wonder if nobody has managed to put one on a G35 yet?
