Test pipes, aftermarket y pipe, magnaflow catback exhaust, intake

Vibrant resonator 1792 less rasp?

For my setup I'm running test pipes to a full catback 2.5" piping all the way to the tips and it can get pretty raspy, im looking into welding in a 1792 vibrant resonator with 2.5" piping just before the muffler. Think it would help with the rasp and drone of the test pipes?
