Suspension question

Can I use the suspension from an 05 automatic coupe in an 06 MT coupe? I'm talking the whole suspension: struts, compression rods, all the links and all that stuff. Will it mess anything up if I do? I read something about stiffer springs on the sport suspension, if I had the struts and springs for the sport would I be able to use the rest of the parts of the 05 suspension?

Suspension parts are all the same through 2003-2006, unless you have a coupe with RWAS (rear wheel active steering) or if it's a G35x (All-wheel drive). Only difference with those struts is that they'll be a little bit stiffer than usual. If you're installing the parts yourself you shouldn't mess anything up as long as you follow the FSM on nicoclub's website.

Only thing to be mindful of is that G35's can have different spring rates and dampers based on whether it has the sport package or not.

Ok so I changed the whole front suspension (the axel, the links, ball joints and pretty much everything else except the sway bar and the steering rack or whatever it's called. But now when I try to drive the car won't accelerate and the slip light comes on when I push the gas pedal .. wtf did I do?!

Make sure you didn't pinch any of the wheel speed sensors/abs wires near the backside of the wheel hub. Double check all the connections you may have unplugged and make sure nothing is loose.

You also mentioned front axle. Are you working on an All-wheel drive model?

Pretty sure you have a front wheel speed sensor not plugged in or maybe bent a pin. Also possible that one of them is bad if you used the donor vehicle wheel speed sensors.
