ok..so damn tired of ballast issues, light issues..etc..etc with the G35 HID.

I have never seen such issues with an OEM HID light system!!

Has anyone dumped the whole thing and made it all halogen?

I maintain three cars and am tired of visiting this thing every year or so.

I buy good stuff...NOT CHEAP.
Not wanting to spend $500 for aftermarket ballast that will not last any longer than the OEM.
Even ballasts with a warranty are useless when the break and I have to go in again..in FL..outside...in the sun..or in the rain. No car work is trivial in those working conditions; it is a whole different story for those of us who live it.

I think the lower light is halogen...?

Is there a fixture that will allow me to place a halogen bulb in the HID bulb spot?

How can I power it?

Has anybody done this?

 

I just bought a DDM HID kit for my
car for like $50 bucks. 2 bulbs and 2 ballasts. I wired it up using a relay. Works fine. Ive been using DDM
HID kits on my care for the past several years and never had an issue with them.
