I have a 07 G35 Coupe and I been told that my car has rear wheel steering, and i see the light dummy light on the dash (just the out line of it) but i never seen it light up before. any sure fire ways of telling if i have RWS??

 

Turn the key to ON, during the lamp check when everything on the dash is illuminated you would have a large RAS light turn on in the dash.

All instrument clusters came prewired for it but if you don't actually have RAS (it was an option on 2006-2007 6MT equipped coupes) then the light won't actually turn on.

You can also check the rear axle, the RAS actuator looks like a power steering rack and pinion sort of, it bolts to the subframe right between the differential and the muffler.

 

Gotcha, thanks for the response. I know I don’t see the RAS light but I’ll jack it up tomorrow.
