Pulled the trigger

Well I can stop lurking now and really start posting. I just got my 03 6MT brilliant silver G35C last night. I traded in my A4 which was great cause the guy priced my trade as a loaded A6 instead of a loaded A4 and stuck to the price that he told me. So I got a great deal. Anyways the G35 has barely been driven. Was owned (mostly garaged) by an 81 year old guy in Fla, that traded it in on an M45 cause he didn't like the 6MT. Thats great for me cause this car is loaded with everything including nav. I love it so far, rear wheel drive is a blast after coming from quattro.

I only have one complaint. In the center console do some of you have an arm rest pad type thing I thought that I remembered one in another G I test drove but mine has no arm rest per say. Can I replace the cupholder cover to get one? How much does that mod run? Thanks for any imput guys and please ask me tons of questions about the new car cause I am exstatic to have a new g ride.

Mike

Center Console Upgrade

There's an upgrade for the center console. Call Grubs and ask about the '03.5 console upgrade. I paid $350.00 for it. Check the DIY section for a 'How to' post on the installation, very easy to do.

dang... you got the navi... Wish I got that... I haven't seen a G yet in person that has a navi... Maybe because it would be useless here in Hawaii... Many people I know don't use street names... they use everything else... well most of the time...

I'm in NC. I paid 29.9. It has 4,000 miles. Getting a great deal on my trade was the best part of the deal although 29.9 is a good price i think.

No way I love AW especially AWOT I will definitely keep visiting there. The traffic on AWOT alone will keep me coming back. Plus I loved that car, and I think they look fantastic so I would like to keep up with the mods that people are perfecting over there and on the 'zine'. I'm excited about the new g though. getting sideways on turns (rear wheel drive) and having that extra power is a welcome change, i'll miss some of the refinments of the audi but this car far out weighs that. and thanks for welcoming me.
