My car is stuck revving on its own at 2k rpms?????

So I was at a light and I revved the car to around 3k rpms. Literally a second and a half later the car decides to start revving on its own to 2k rpms (slip light and cel turned on) and my gas pedal no longer works!! I can still shift and drive very slowly (clutch grips great). when I change gears the car want to reach 2k rpms on each and every gear. Anyone know what it could be? Help
i do have one gutted cat and I cleaned my throttle body around 1 month and a half ago (the wrong way but car ran fine after). My normal idle is around 600 rpms maybe a little lower.
Update* turns out my gas pedal went out which would explain why it stopped working and once I got to replaced I did the idle reset to bring the rpms back to normal🙂

Your CEL light is on, the car is telling you what the problem is.
