My clutch started making this weird sound when I slip it. It’s off and on and is not constant. Any suggestions what it might be? I think it’s the throw out bearing because it’s a whirring sound.

 

If you have 100k miles on the clutch it could very well have parts failing. Take the tranny off and inspect for broken/worn components.

 

the clutch was replaced ab 30k miles ago.

 

Well a TO bearing can fail prematurely especially if you are touching the clutch pedal (or resting your foot on it). If you aren't currently shifting gears you CANNOT touch that pedal, even the lightest pressure causes the TO bearing to engage.
