So during a storm my wiper blades decide to stop working, and I have no idea where to start to fix the issue. The day before I was messing around with some of the connectors under the steering wheel to get access to my roof drain tube to clean it. I disconnected some stuff and I'm certain I plugged everything back together. Whenever I activate my wipers I can hear a whiring behind the steering wheel, also I noticed my seat belt light is now flashing even if I'm wearing my belt. I did remove my seats that same day to clean but I'm positive I connected everything right. I checked the fuses under the driver side and the fuses besides my battery. I'm going to check the wiper motor and start from there, but has anyone had to do this repair? Could use some advice

By chance did you disconnect the power from the battery before you started unplugging a bunch of delicate computer equipment? Ever tried to hot swap a CPU out of a motherboard, it usually doesn't end well.
Disconnect the battery, go through EVERY SINGLE HARNESS that was unplugged and check them all for bent pins, something is probably bent or still disconnected for the seat issue.
As for the wipers, focus on where that "whirring sound" is coming from, that sounds unusual.
Since it all stopped working suddenly during a storm I'm guessing water is pooling up somewhere and shorted something out. Unplug the wiper motor itself, see if the wiper motor has power when you turn the switch to any of the speed positions including high speed. Should have battery voltage at the motor. If it has power then the motor itself went out, if there's no power it's something else in the circuit.
Pin 3 purple wire is the low speed side, pin 5 blue/black stripe is the high speed side.
The wiper circuit is fairly straightforward, check IPDM (engine fuse box) fuses 71, 73, and 78. Check Fuse Block - J/B (cabin fuse box) fuses 1 and 18.
If you hear a whirling sound when you turn on the wipers, it could be the wiper motor turning, so it may be that your linkage is loose or has been disconnected from the motor. Open the hood and remove the plastic cowl cover to expose the wiper linkage so you can check it.
At what point during the storm did they stop working? Were they frozen to the windshield and turned on? I've seen (thought not on a G35) where the grooves in the wiper arm, where they attach to the pivots, were completely worn away by the splines on the pivots.
