Weird noise after intake install

Hi. I recently started noticed an annoying noise my car makes when I accelerate. It only happens at ~2000 rpms and will go away after a second if I try to hold it there. It sounds like a scraping/grinding/squealing noise. Also kind of sounds like a turbo spooling but I obviously don’t have one. I put an intake on and the noise got a lot louder after that, so I’m wondering if it is something in the intake system, or just removing all the extra plastic made that noise louder. I’ve put intakes in other cars and never heard that before so I don’t think it’s supposed to be there but I could be wrong. Also it’s coming from the front driver side where the intake filter is so that’s another reason I’m thinking something to do with the intake.
here is a video I took where you can hear it, it’s a little hard to hear tho:

Cant hear anything from that video.

Inspect the intake area and make sure nothing is rubbing on anything. Also inspect your wheel well for bent fender liners touching the wheel.

Does it do it only in drive? Does it do it while parked and revving?

Have someone sit in the car and rev it while u inspect under the hood.

It does still make the noise revving in park, although slightly quieter, so it’s not the wheel hub or fender liner or anything like that.

I will have somebody rev it for me and I will check again.

You're going to hear a lot more hissing/intake sound but it shouldn't sound like grinding.

yea the more I listen the more I think that’s just how it’s supposed to sound. In my old car I never heard that. it was a smaller 4banger though so maybe that’s why.
