window motor and regulator

window motor and regulator
Hey guys, just a random question here that I feel is probably a common issue with most coupe owners at this point if you have an '03 to '06. I'm trying to find window regulators and motors for both sides and I'm just searching for suggestions on which brands you guys think are the best ones to get for quality and longevity. I'm not worried about cost if it's worth it because I'm looking for it to last. There are a bunch of different prices thrown around on different websites and I'm of the thought that the more expensive would be the better choice, but since I'm not familiar with the different brands, I'd rather ask before I make the push. Thanks in advance

It really doesn't matter, regulators and motor rewinding is so common that even the cheaper brands (they're still fairly expensive) will be fine.
The most important thing with the regulators is to grease them up good because there's usually never enough factory grease. I use a liberal amount of Sil-Glyde because the stuff is thick so it stays in place and it lasts ages. It's a very VERY thick viscosity silicone grease so it's safe for all plastics, it will not drip when it's summertime hot inside your door.
