Car still won’t start after replacing Camshaft position sensor 1 and it’s connector

As the title suggests my car won’t start after I replaced the sensor and connector. My car is 03 g35 with 200,000 miles. Trying to keep this car as long as I can. I’ve gotten two sensor codes the past 100 miles. When I first installed the sensor, it ran fine until I died in a Walmart parking lot. After replacing the sensor and the connector. It won’t start. I bought a new connector today and replaced that with no luck. Anything to revive my car?

Is it an OEM or Hitachi (OEM supplier) sensor? These cars are known to not do well with aftermarket sensors. If you ran down to the local parts store and didn't get OEM, that could be the issue.

Exactly what code is the car throwing?

Also, the gas gauge is NOTORIOUS for failing and showing 1/2 tank even though it's empty. Add 1 gallon of fresh fuel just to verify you're not simply out of gas.
