Infiniti g35, de rev up
Best clutch and flywheel kit for my ‘07 g35 Rev up

Hey so my g35 clutch has been rattling ever since i got it, it appears to be the throwout bearing because everytime i depress the clutch the clattering goes away and starts once i release it. replacing the throwout bearing isn’t cheap because of labor, so i was thinking i should just replace the whole clutch while i’m at it since i have about 134k and i don’t know if it’s ever been done. Do any of you know what clutch and flywheel kit is the best for its price? I don’t need to do the flywheel but am thinking about a lightweight one. Thanks!

I went with the Z1 Motorsports lightweight kit because I don't mind chatter and love the way it revs out on a light flywheel.

If you don't replace the flywheel, at least resurface it before putting it back on. And make sure to check closely when you put it on that it is clocked correctly. You will see (unless it's fallen out) a very small dowel pin to line up the flywheel correctly.

It's hard to find a shop that will even attempt to resurface a dual mass flywheel. Usually what fails is the return springs, then the center section just flops back and forth against it's bumpers.

I've paid guys under the table to just do it anyways, I tack welded the thing into place then ground the tack off later when I got it back. Porsche parts are stupidly expensive and sometime you NEED to just fix the part.
